Fine Interior Finishing

Wall Preparation

Preparation is the single most important factor to a quality job.  Preparation includes sanding the surfaces, before and between coats of paint, making sure all nail holes are properly filled, caulking all seams, and patching all cracks.  Just because a high quality paint is used in your home does not ensure a beautiful finish. Painting along with full preparation is what creates a “Classic Décor”.

Paper Hanging

There are many interior painters who hang paper.  We specialize in hanging delicate papers that are hand blocked.  In addition to prints we can hang a rustic grasscloth, or a delicate silk.  The Classic Décor difference is the delicate care and pride we take while working with these beautiful papers.

Wall Painting

What is a properly painted wall? It is a wall that has an even sheen and it is free of marks, dust, holes, and is a single color with no spots missing. Anything less is obviously not a Classic Décor wall.
